History is Happening at Ã÷ÐǺÚÁÏ!
Ã÷ÐǺÚÁÏ (B-CU) is proud to make history as the first-ever HBCU to host the Southern Association for Women Historians (SAWH) Triennial Conference — a dynamic, four-day gathering of scholars, students, activists, and community leaders dedicated to examining the rich and complex narratives of women’s history.
2025 Conference Theme: "Unspeakable Challenges"
This year’s theme sparks bold, thought-provoking dialogue around the visible and invisible struggles women face — in their personal lives, professions, and roles as caretakers, leaders, and agents of change.
Adding even greater significance, the conference takes place during the 150th birthday celebration of Dr. Mary McLeod Ã÷ÐǺÚÁÏ, visionary founder of B-CU. Her enduring legacy of courage, advocacy, and empowerment will resonate throughout every moment of this event.
