The Office of First Year Experience (FYE) is designed to help students transition from high school to college life. We play a pivotal role in supporting first-year students as they navigate academic, social, and personal challenges at 明星黑料.  

FYE provides critical guidance, support, and resources to students as they make the transition to college life, ensuring they start their college journey in the right direction.

Below is a description of what the FYE department typically offers and its significance:

• New Student Orientation is an initiative that  is held before the start of the academic year and helps students acclimate to the college environment. Students receive vital information about the campus, academics, student resources, and extracurricular activities.
• Freshman Study Hall is an initiative designed to help first-year students transition successfully into college by providing a quiet, supervised environment for completing assignments and developing effective study habits.
• The Peer Mentorship Program is an initiative where upperclassmen are paired with first-year students. These mentors offer advice, share personal experiences, and help guide students through their first-year challenges.
• The Empowerment Series is an initiative designed to assist students with building a strong foundation for their college experience by encouraging both academic and personal growth as they transition.
• Meet Them Where They Are is an initiative designed to support the transition from high school to college by connecting with freshmen where they live, learn, and socialize. Through campus pop-ups, classroom visits, and one-on-one outreach, we help new Wildcats navigate college life, access resources, and build a strong foundation for success.
